Leaving a WhatsApp group often feels awkward. People ask why, and gossip starts in the chat. WhatsApp has now made it easier. In the new update, you can silently leave any group. Now, no one except the group admin will receive a notification.
Now, if you delete a group after leaving it, it will disappear from your chat list and its entire chat history will be deleted. After leaving a group, your name and number may temporarily appear in the "Past Members" section. You just need to confirm by selecting "Exit Group" from the WhatsApp account you want to leave.
Only the admin will receive a notification to leave the group. Other members will not be aware of this. This feature is completely private.
