According to media reports, iPhone users will now be able to add any emoji as a sticker to their Status photos or videos. The emoji is clearly visible to the viewer, and a reaction can be sent with just one tap, without any additional menus or swipes. This has made Status interactions much smoother and faster.

This new option offers an Instagram-like experience, where creators encourage audiences to react with stickers. In WhatsApp, these stickers are also directly visible to the viewer, potentially increasing engagement. Importantly, the sent reaction is only visible to the user posting the status, keeping the entire process completely secure and private.

Users can make their status more expressive by choosing their preferred emoji. The default is the heart-eyes emoji, but you can also use fire, laughter, shock, or any other emoji if desired.

Currently, this update is available on WhatsApp iOS beta v25.35.10.70 and is being rolled out to more iPhone users in the coming days.
