Bank Holiday in December: RBI has released the list of bank holidays in December. According to the RBI calendar, banks will remain closed for a total of 19 days in December. These 19 days also include holidays on 4 Sundays and 2 Saturdays. Apart from this, banks will remain closed for several days in different states as per regional festivals.

All banks will remain closed in Goa on the occasion of St. Francis Xavier festival and Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh on Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti. With this, all banks across the country will remain closed on the occasion of Christmas. With bank holidays, you can also complete many of your tasks online. 19 December (Friday): Goa Liberation Day (Goa)

December 20 (Saturday): Losung / Namsung (Gangtok)

December 21 (Sunday): Banks will remain closed across the country.

December 22 (Monday): Losung/Namsung (Gangtok)

December 24 (Wednesday): Christmas Eve (Meghalaya, Mizoram)

December 25 (Thursday): Christmas

26 December (Friday): Christmas Celebration (Meghalaya, Mizoram, Telangana)
