Every year in November, many EPFO pension beneficiaries submit life certificates. This is crucial for receiving pension benefits. Previously, people would have to wait in long queues at banks, post offices, and EPFO offices to submit life certificates.
But now, you can complete this task online through various means. Alternatively, you can also submit your life certificate at your nearest CSC center.
Which documents are required?
PPA number
Aadhaar card
Aadhaar-registered mobile number
Biometric details, such as fingerprints or iris scans, will be required for verification.
How to submit online?
First, visit Jeevanpramaan.gov.in.
Click on the "Get a Certificate" option.
Then, select your mobile or computer, whichever method you're using, and download the app.
After the download is complete, open the app and carefully fill in the required information, such as your Aadhaar number, PPO number, etc. Then, complete the verification process using your fingerprint or iris scan.
Once the verification is complete, the digital life certificate will be generated and submitted to the office.
You can also complete this task through the EPFO app, umaag.
