Along with Bhai Dooj, many states have also declared holidays for Chitragupta Jayanti, Lakshmi Puja, Bhatri Dwitiya, and Ningol Chakouba. According to the RBI, banks will be closed in Gujarat, Sikkim, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Himachal Pradesh. Banks will operate as usual in the rest of the country.
Although much banking work has shifted online, allowing you to perform many banking tasks from the comfort of your home using your smartphone, many banking tasks still require a visit to the branch. Furthermore, banking services will be affected in many states on October 27th and 28th during Chhath Puja. Banks will then be closed in Gujarat on October 31st for Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti.

October 25 (Saturday) - Fourth Saturday.
October 26 (Sunday) - Sunday holiday.
October 27 (Monday) - Banks will be closed in Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal due to Chhath Puja (Evening Arghya).
October 28 (Tuesday) - Banks will be closed in Bihar and Jharkhand due to Chhath Puja (Morning Arghya).
October 31 (Friday) - Banks will be closed only in Gujarat on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti.
