According to RBI, the list of holidays is as follows: September 3, 2025 (Wednesday): Banks will be closed due to Karma Puja in Jharkhand 4 September 2025 (Thursday): This is the first Onam festival of Kerala, so banks will remain closed. 5 September 2025 (Friday): Eid-e-Milad and Thiruvonam on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad and Thiruvonam, Gujarat, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamilnadu,, on the occasion Banks will remain closed in Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Manipur, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, New Delhi, Jharkhand, Jammu and Srinagar. September 6, 2025 (Saturday): Banks will remain closed in Sikkim and Chhattisgarh on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad (Milad-un-Nabi)/Indrajatra. 12 September, 2025 (Friday): September 2025 (Friday): Bandi shut in Jammmu and Srinagar after Eid-e-Milad and Srinagar. On September 22, 2025 (Monday): Banks will remain closed in Rajasthan on the occasion of Navratri establishment. September 23, 2025 (Saturday): Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on the occasion of Maharaja Hari Singh’s birth anniversary. 29 September 2025 (Monday): On the occasion of Mahasaptami, Durga Puja, banks will remain closed in Tripura, Assam and West Bengal. In Rajasthan, West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand, banks will remain closed on the occasion of Mahashtami/Durga Ashtami/Durga Puja. Thus, a total of 9 days will remain closed for a total of 9 days except on the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays in September. That is, the banks will be closed for 4 consecutive days at the beginning of the month. However, these holidays will vary in different states.
