Whatsapp call reminder: Whatsapp, the world’s most popular messaging app, is once again in the discussion about a new feature. Whatsapp is testing two new features for the convenience of its users. These features are being brought to compete with Telegram, Snapchat and Jack Dorsey’s new app BITCHAT. Apart from this, preparations are being made to bring it to users to give better experience.

New call reminder feature

If you are unable to answer a call. If you are busy with a meeting, class or event, now Whatsapp will help you re-track that missed call. According to WABETAINFO report, Whatsapp has started testing this new feature in Android Beta version 2.25.22.5. In this, you will get options to set the reminder for missed calls. You will be able to set it 2 hours later, 8 hours later, 24 hours later and custom (set time to your convenience).

Why is this feature beneficial?

Many times we miss a call and later forget who we had to call back. But now this will not happen. Whatsapp itself will send you the reminder from time to time to back to which you have to call.

Import profile photo from Instagram and Facebook

WhatsApp is testing another new feature. In which users will be able to import the profile photo directly from their Instagram or Facebook account. Soon if you want to apply your social media Instagram or Facebook DP on WhatsApp, then there will be no need to download that photo in the gallery. Now you will be able to update your profile photo on WhatsApp by choosing a photo directly from Instagram or Facebook. This will save time and the process will also become easier.

Both these features are currently in testing. They can be started for all users in the coming few weeks or months.
