WhatsApp always brings new features to improve the chatting experience of its users. This time, Meta has come up with an amazing feature. Whose name is Wave Emoji. The purpose of this feature is to make the start of a new chat easier. Read below to know whether you will get this feature or not, and how it will work.
What is this new Wave Emoji feature?
The wave emoji is a waving hand emoji. Users can send it as a greeting, Hello or Hi. This feature is very beneficial for those who want to start a chat with a new contact but hesitate. Through this, they will not feel any hesitation in sending the first message. WABetaInfo has shared a post on its X handle. In the post, this emoji has been shown in WhatsApp Beta for Android 2.25.21.24. A screenshot has also been shared in which this feature is visible.
Where will this emoji be seen?
Now the question arises, where will this feature be seen? So you will see this feature when you open the chat of a person with whom you have never chatted before. In his chat, you will see this wave emoji at the bottom. This emoji will be seen only in one-on-one chat. This means that this option will be available only in personal chatting, not in group chatting.
At present, this feature has been started for WhatsApp beta users. After beta testing, it can be started for all users soon.
Wave All option in voice chat too
WhatsApp is not keeping this emoji only in chats, but a new option, Wave All has been added in voice chats as well. This feature sends a notification to all the members of the group that they can join the voice chat. That is, this can be a smart way to call everyone together in a meeting or discussion.
