How will the new feature work?
First, open your WhatsApp.
After this go to the Settings of the app.
In the settings, you will see the section of your profile, tap on it.
In the profile section, below the name and 'About' information, you can find a new option to set the username. (This option will appear after the feature is rolled out)
By clicking on it, you will be able to choose a unique username of your choice.
Once the username is set, you will be able to share your username with others instead of giving them your number so that they can connect with you.
