The facility to send photos and videos in HD quality is already available on WhatsApp. Through this feature, you can send photos and videos in HD quality to any person. Media files received in HD quality are also downloaded in HD in your phone. It is through such media files that the problem of your phone's storage getting full is often seen. After the new feature, you will get the facility to control the photo and video download quality. Let's know how.
In the latest report of Wabetainfo, information about the new download quality feature has been given through WhatsApp beta for Android 2.25.18.11 update. If the report is to be believed, soon the option of Download Quality is going to be available in WhatsApp along with Upload Quality. Through this option, users will be able to manually set whether they want to keep the quality of photos and videos coming on WhatsApp as HD or SD. If you select HD quality, then all the media files coming on WhatsApp will be saved in HD quality, which will soon fill up the phone's storage. On the other hand, on choosing the SD option, all media files will be downloaded in standard quality, which will take up minimal space on your phone.
