WhatsApp has launched a voice chat feature for all group chats. This feature is now available on both Android and iOS platforms. WhatsApp has added this new feature to make group chats even more fun. Now groups, regardless of the number of members in them, can host voice chats with multiple members. Although this feature has been present for the last few years, WhatsApp has limited it only to large groups. Now, this feature has been made available for groups of all sizes.
The new update of WhatsApp now allows multiple members to join a quick voice chat simultaneously. This feature is good for those situations where text chat is not enough. When the discussion is urgent or very complex and people need to come together, then this feature is a good option for this. Also, it is perfect for those occasions when everyone does not need to be on a group call for conversation.
WhatsApp Voice Chat: How to use this feature
The voice chat feature is now available in the latest and most updated version of WhatsApp, which you can download from Google Play and Apple App Store. As soon as you download and install the updated version of the app, you can use this new feature.
– To go to your favorite WhatsApp group, go to the bottom of the chat.
– Now, swipe up from the bottom and hold until you see the voice chat prompt. Tap ‘OK’ to start the conversation.
– Once the voice chat starts, you can speak and give your message. The group will receive a link to the voice chat you have created.
– Note that the voice chat will not send any notifications or calls to other group members. Only members who are active in or exploring the group chat window can join it.
– Voice chats give you call control options, allowing you to end it or mute the mic if needed. Other members can see who else has joined.
– Other group members can join and leave the voice chat whenever they want.
