News India Live, Digital Desk: Legendary actress Seema Pahwa, known for influential roles in films like 'Bareilly Ki Barfi', 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', 'Badha Do' and 'Shubh Mangal Savdhan', has expressed her concern over the declining creativity in the Bollywood film industry. In a clear conversation, Pahwa revealed that she could soon say goodbye to Bollywood as the focus of the industry is moving towards commercial interests rather than creative activities.
During an interview with the Bollywood Hide, Pahwa said, “I think I will soon have to say goodbye to the film industry. The situation in the industry is deteriorating rapidly, and creative people are almost ignoring. The industry is now controlled by individuals with completely commercial thinking, who run it only for profit.” Sharing her frustrations, the actress said, “These people give priority to financial gains and often consider experienced actors like me as old. She argues that alone actor cannot bring the success of the film; instead, instead, he believes that only business elements matters.” After dedicating 55 years to the acting profession, Pahwa regretted that she was not getting the honors and roles she really entitled. He said, “It is sad when only a person with a five -year experience claims more than my decades work. Therefore, I have decided to return to the theater, where I can get real satisfaction and creative freedom.” Seema Pahwa gained fame with popular TV shows like 'Kasam Se', 'Hum Girls' and 'Astitva… Ek Prem Kahani' before successfully step into films.
